A Study in Casting

These pieces were created as an initial study/introduction to metal casting. The landscape was created as part of a larger group piece, while the elephant was created as a personal image choice.

Both pieces were created by sculpting an image out of wax, casting a mold out of sand and pouring melted aluminum into the mold.
